Courtney Cromie
Life CoachHelping you channel your full potential
Hi, I’m Courtney! Let me help you reach your full potential in your personal and professional goals.
My Story
I was born in Pittsburgh Pennsylvania, but spent most of my growing-up years in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. I went to Auburn University and later to Princeton Seminary. I have worked for non-profits, congregations, and seminaries for over twenty years. I am passionate about helping others and encouraging people to reach their full potential.
A few years ago I found myself in a really dark place. I knew I wanted to change my approach to relationships, career choices, and decision making patterns, but I just didn’t know how to do so. Then I found articles that gave me hope! I began to beleive it was possible to change my ways. The author is now my life coach and has really helped change my life. Ever since 2018, she has guided me through dark places and has been avaiable with accountability and encouragement. I still have a long way to go, but with her coaching I have made great strides in sestting my goals and working to reach my full potential.
I am a work in progress and do not claim to be an expert on how to have a perfect life or make perfect choices. But I can promise that as your life coach, I will be your biggest fan on life’s journey. I will cheer you on and believe in you as you define your goals and take the necessary steps to reach them.
I continually ask myself, “how am I qualified to be a Life Coach when I still have so far to go?” Well the answer that comes to me every time is that I have yet to meet a perfect person. We are all human and we all make mistakes. And all any of us can do is try hard to right our wrongs and work diligently to be the best person we can be.
As someone who has always been single, it’s been so nice to have someone there with me through the bad and the good. My life coach supported me through grief when my mother was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s and passed away during Covid. My coach shared in my joy when I reached some goals. And no matter how far I have yet to go, she always reminds me how far I have come.
I hope I can be that same type of life coach for others who need the same support.
My Values & Beliefs
Lifelong Learning
My coaching is grounded in the belief that we are all life-long learners. I do not believe that I have all of the answers, but I am committed to learning new information whenever I can.
There's Not One Destination
Coaching is about a process and the client is on a journey. There is not one destination where everyone embraces my personal beliefs. I am there to support the client to be in their life reaching their goals and finding their dreams.
Self-Discovery
I am committed to guide my clients in self-discovery, growth, and to enact positive change. With integrity and enthusiasm, I seek to empower clients to unlock their full potential.
My Approach
Effective life coaching is achieved by asking open-ended questions and listening with an open mind and genuine curiosity. There are not preconceived agendas or judgments. I offer a safe and empowering space for clients to explore their life goals and desires. As we journey through emotions, I will respect your boundaries while challenging you with accountability. I will trust my instincts and always be authentic. I will ask questions with the intent to actively listen. I believe in transformative coaching and dedicate my time with clients to see it be realized.
